I am experimenting with an intelligent RSS reader that has a content-based recommender as opposed to the social recommender that people are used to. The figure of merit for this sort of thing is “area under the receiver operating characteristic curve” and with a very simple model I get around 73%, I was reading that Tik Tok gets 80% so I don’t think I am doing too bad. |
