I long for a SaaS company that questions complexity and simplifies offerings. Imagine: "We've been questioning whether our customers actually needed all these slightly different services with such labyrinthine pricing plans that no one understands, so we decided to group a bunch of them into an all-you-can-eat plan that internally uses the same backend, instantly saving you money without you having to lift a finger." Obviously, that's wishful thinking: It will never happen. SaaS companies only ever increase the complexity of their offerings and pricing plans over time. |
