It seems that we are being intentionally dense in this area. I don't think anybody is arguing that these tools, in their current form, are a threat. But Bing or ChatGPT are the shittiest version that's useful. It doesn't have to be perfect and useful for everything. The new Bing isn't even widely released yet. This will only get better with time. They are up against traditional web search which has about a 30 year head start. There is a dissonance where some seem to think these aren't useful yet I see people getting a ton of use out of them. |
