I find it best to break everything down to 4 hour tasks. If a ticket is crazy big it should be made into sub-tickets each about 4 hours of work. Then with an 8 hour day you assume half will be taken by meetings, lunch, etc. So very reasonable for average engineer to get one 4 hour ticket done a day. |
