It is a mirror taboo. A mirror taboo being something that is brought up by a side, but if the items are reversed, there is no discussion: - males are falling behind females in reading and math, not mentioned, just females need to stem - nursing (high pay) is predominantly female, engineering (high pay) is predominantly male, not mentioned on how to get more males into nursing away from previously low pay and dangerous jobs - males are expected to keep traditional role, females are allowed to change, flip that and see how that goes at your next date. |
