Thanks for taking a look DBformore. I'm CTO and co-founder of DataQA The service is hosted in AWS, data stored in RDS, we've been very careful with following security practices using encryption and rest and VPC etc.

We only store Slack messages that a user has interacted with, in channels that the App has been invited. If the app is uninstalled, all stored data is deleted permanently

Have you experienced the problem of institutional knowledge trapped in your team Slack?

I myself don't use Slack, but a lot of my friends at other companies do, and security is a main issue. It's good to hear that the data is indeed encrypted, so even if your server get hacked, your customers will still be safe.
