Even 20 years ago, I had a class that was struggling to get through the introduction of a book. We spent a few weeks on it. I became frustrated and just checked the book out of the library and read it entirely one afternoon. It took me awhile to realize that what most of the class were struggling with was not a grasp of the English language per-se, but the overwhelmingly majority of people in the class were dyslexic. And because of that, they were in an art and design college. |
