What is the end goal here? Cut out as many people as you possibly can without the website burning down? Spend 0 on RnD? Is his goal to make Twitter profitable and, if that were possible, then start gradually spending on RnD?

I also find it kind of weird that almost all development is ceasing, yet he is trying to find more ways to charge people. The optics of it is a bit weird to me.

Is it possible that he's just not good at this? I think this might be the first company he's run in a while where he didn't have other execs keeping him on the rails.

I agree, though, I don't understand what he's trying to do here, and the QoL on the apps have slipped tremendously in the past couple of months. He keeps trying to generate revenue but doesn't seem interested in running a successful business.

He's quadrupling down on a catastrophic mistake, and it's too embarrassing not to, at least, attempt to make a phoenix rise from the ashes. You'd think he'd have seen the canary in the coal mine, but his bird brain failed to see it would be an albatross around his neck
The end game is just Elon alone in an office with David Calacanis, who I assume will refuse to leave.
