We know that it is not pleasing in your sight and ask for your mercy, for “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).
Help us to remember that prayer should be genuine and heartfelt so that we can receive strength, courage, grace, mercy, peace, joy, hope and love as we turn to You in every circumstance.
