Dice awards are somewhat like the academy awards for games. It’s more that they (DF creators) are hitting several successes after years of building a project many people love or admire and having a following but for the most part falling under the radar. Now they are getting a lot of main stream recognition and that’s important for people who are aware of the work they’ve put in.
