I reported about my own similar experience a few years back (https://puntofisso.medium.com/paypal-closed-my-account-with-...). What's really stuck with me is that it seems that anti-fraud legislation in many countries allows PayPal and, most importantly, traditional banks to accuse a customer of fraud and close their account without having to provide the actual reason that triggered the anti-fraud checks. |
