IMO none of OP's points are the one thing really wrong with (dev/tech) hiring. The absolutely grueling, pointless, insane interviews processes are the lion's share of problems in this field. To the point that its an industry of its own, with Leetcode and the likes. Its pathetic, inefficient and just in terrible taste. |
