I do wonder if in all of the cost cutting some of these massive companies have focused on in previous years, we are going to see more and more dangerous bugs like this come out of the webwork as a result of refusal to pay their best engineers above market rate. Anecdotal, and probably just a result of software being more widespread in general, but it feels like incidents like these are becoming more frequent. |
