In addition, I like the way Estonian ID numbers were designed: - 1st digit for gender at birth + century born (1,2,3,4,5 or 6) - Next 6 digits are birth date in YYMMDD format - Next 3 digits are the incremental birth order within the same category (same day/gender) - Last 1 digit is checksum |
