We're not "putting up" with it, we're downvoting it and ignoring it. That's how you get it to stop or at least be filtered out. It's better to shun and ignore an unwanted post than to try to berate, punish and ban or delete it, IMO. Let people shout into the void if they choose to. You gave them the validation - there is no such thing as bad attention. |
