I do own a T480 and Lenovo has stopped manufacturing batteries for it. You can get existing stock for horrendous prices or knock-offs.

Can confirm… just bought a thin battery for my x270 and paid about 100€ for an original one, brand new.

Worth it though, the x270 is very slim and still featureful.
