It's more like 'visualize individual Wikipedia articles'. Unfortunately it doesn't generate any kind of embedding for the contexts articles are embedded in or cross-linked with, although that information is available from the Wikipedia API. Other than the grand view, it's not very readable.

Might be good for use in a kiosk environment. On a personal device it's not a fun reading experience.

It is not very readable, but it is very searchable. I rarely read Wikipedia articles through, mostly I skim them to read excerpts I need. Map view seems great for that.
