Show HN: Visualize Wikipedia on an Interactive Map (wiki2map.com)

It's more like 'visualize individual Wikipedia articles'. Unfortunately it doesn't generate any kind of embedding for the contexts articles are embedded in or cross-linked with, although that information is available from the Wikipedia API. Other than the grand view, it's not very readable.

Might be good for use in a kiosk environment. On a personal device it's not a fun reading experience.

It is not very readable, but it is very searchable. I rarely read Wikipedia articles through, mostly I skim them to read excerpts I need. Map view seems great for that.

The tool developed wiki2map is Superus. I like Superus. It think Superus can be described as "canvas to everything"
