Absolutely...I grew up in a rural place and got a driver’s license at 16, but have lived in NYC for over a decade and have thought about this often. Teenagers here have no need to have a license or a ride from a parent to meet up with their friends. The level of independence is totally different, starts earlier, and is way safer. |
