As I understand it groceries are high volume and low margin and the logistics are nightmarish (getting the wrong stuff at the wrong time, left holding the bag if something goes bad) - whats your plan for dealing with that? On that note - is reusable containers going to make your endeavor cheaper and easier or more costly? What does a cheap gallon of milk in your area cost vs what you think you'll sell at? Curious if you'll compete on price alone or if your target audience are the people irritated by plastic use and willing to pay on that. How are you sourcing? Mostly I want to know whether you'll be able to get product that itself isnt coming in disposable packaging. Neat project, I wish you luck! |
