Whatever happened to move fast and break things? Who cares if it wasn't perfect in the first iteration. It was a shot across ChatGPTs bow, and pleased the shareholders.

The criticism is valid. It was a pre-recorded demo with 3 bullets and they got one wrong. Easily could have fact checked it before publishing it.

It would have been forgivable in a live demo, but they didn't do one because they "lost"[0] the phone.

0 - There's a chance they didn't do the demo on purpose because it wasn't ready.

That was Facebook. Google is move slow and have your PR nitpicked eight times.
Move fast and break things don't apply if your "break things" cooks the golden goose
I don’t think any Google shareholders are happy with the stock price after their announcement.
