Because our miracle was for robots to do tedious tasks and humans enjoy creative work.

But it turns out that the future will be the opposite.

If humans are to regain their creative advantages over AI, we will require far better interfaces.

Truth is a human mind is more powerful than an AI, consider how many images you could create in a second and with far greater accuracy and detail than an AI could. But humans have no way to “output” these images the way an AI can except to manually draw them out, which is a very slow process. The images though certainly exist in the mind.

If we had some sort of brain-to-machine interface, that could allow us to dump images at fast rates onto a screen, then human art could see a sort of high tech renaissance. More humans could be artists, with nothing more than the power of their thoughts. No art skills required. And not just with images: text, videos, sound, anything…

Anyone looking to fight back against the AI apocalypse, should be researching how to create such technologies. It is time for humans to become more than human.

That's a very interesting observation that I had not seen before.
