Also that google is able to give me live results whereas an LLM is trained on data from some point in the past. And just maybe I want to actually go to a site I'm searching for and not just wanting a summary or conversation about the topic. I just don't see how an LLM is going to replace search unless it can do all the other useful things search does right now. Augment search, yes. Replace it with the current chatGPT interface? No way. |
