Last week, the Internet blew up with the seemingly outrageous news that Musk fired a "senior engineer" over his saying that Musk's low view count was NOT due to anything wrong technically with Twitter, implying Twitter users just weren't all that interested in Musk. Here's that story: https://www.platformer.news/p/elon-musk-fires-a-top-twitter-... So yesterday/today Musk is tweeting that Twitter Engineering is finding and addressing problems affecting view count. So was Musk basically right technically and the Sr Engr wrong? Not at all saying it was right to fire the engineer on the spot or any of the outrageous behavior Musk reportedly exhibited around this technical issue, just the technical issue itself. |
