Michael Hartl's book is available in its entirety online: http://ruby.railstutorial.org/ruby-on-rails-tutorial-book He's a cool guy, also roams HN from time to time, so you can say hi. Additionally RailsCasts are helpful on individual topics here and there. I would strongly recommend the "Rails Test Prescriptions" book, it sets your on the right path to test first everything you do, which works out great! |
