For me, I have to have a schedule for me to go to the gym. It's part of my routine that I just do.
I do some weight training, then cardio. Cardio indoors is boring, but the machines they have there have chess and sodoku, so I like to do that when I run or go on the elliptical.
I make it where the goal is 4 times per week and it's built into my schedule. For a while it was right after work, I'd go on the way home, doing wfh I go to one nearby and train for 45 minutes. I also avoid exercises that made me hate lifting, like power cleans. It is good to have a whole body program, but finding alternatives for exercises you dislike is super helpful |
