There isn't a single solution. With that kind of reasoning, you'll essentially end up doing nothing.

Ground traffic amounts to around 20 - 25 % of all carbon output. A significant portion of the lifecycle emissions of just about any product also comes from ground transport, so it makes a lot of sense to swap most of it to electric rather sooner than later.

Immediately after claiming there isn't a single solution, you went on to offer only a single solution, while dismissing the several solutions offered by the parent.
Hmmm, Id like you to expand on this 'doing nothing' idea. This does seem more appealing than cars of any sort...
