It is not offensive, it is just pointless. I've never see people from USA write "I'm made XYZ App, made from a guy in Minnesota". I'm not from USA. But a lot of people outside USA, see the need to plaster it all over the place (Switzerland? Germany? Sweden?) their country of origin. Is the country an indicator of quality of a product? Is it supposed to convey anything to me? Hey, I don't agree with "... made with Rust/Go/React/X" slogan too. It is just pointless. |
