If you weren’t aware, the deadline for opting in to COBRA has been significantly extended during the Covid public health emergency declaration. You get an extra year to elect COBRA beyond the normal 60 days, and it’s retroactive to when you first lost coverage due to your job ending. Depending on how recent “recently” is, and how long you were between jobs for, this might be worth looking in to. |
