For a plant to pull CO2 out of the air, it has to do something with that carbon. For a plant, this usually means "growing". Unless your indoor plants grow very quickly, they are not doing much to reduce CO2. Edit: Found some dude who is bubbling air through plastic bottles filled with algal cultures to scrub his air. Since algae does grow pretty quickly in the right conditions, this might be pretty efficient, albeit kinda gross looking.
