That's the problem: for those of us who run Ubuntu and related (Xubuntu here), we found out about this by our regular updating, and having apt give that rude message. It's basically a "fuck you pay me" message, with the subtext of "it'd be a shame if someone was to hack that vulnerable program I just gave you" |
