Most developers are not writing code for other developers: they are writing for 'real people', because there are so many of them. I don't know what audience CodeMash has, but if it's like most developer gatherings, there will plenty of of developers from 'real' companies that are contributing to the lives of 'real people'. For most applications you write it's necessary to be aware of the fact that people like yourself aren't the people mostly using the application. |
