I think you should be able to determine this pretty quickly by monitoring a website which you try to ping with ChatGPT. I don't think this would work nor that ChatGPT has internet access, but it is weird that it was able to hallucinate an article only recently published.

It can hallucinate an article convincingly from a) the medium.com domain and b) the article slug.
