I have been freelancing since 2013, never got affected by a lay off. I work 2 months and then sleep / travel for 3-4.

Was it hard to get into freelancing? How do you find projects?
Yes, very hard. Had to accept 400$ for a large project once. 20% of earnings taken by platform until I took off, but it eventually paid off after gaining some experience and reputation, it's much easier now. Discord, Telegram, Reddit, anywhere. You just have to be aggressive and message people. I have a gig now.
