Fastly looks like it's down. Our monitoring is seeing this across many sites, and their own status page is down: https://docs.fastly.com/en/guides/fastlys-service-status
For me (Europe), https://www.fastlystatus.com/ (linked from the link you shared) works and reports no issue. Reddit (listed as one of the victims) also works. So the outage is probably not global.
https://www.redditstatus.com - the Reddit status page is showing Fastly London ‘down for maintenance’. Lots of sites are having an issue for me in the UK (including Reddit), even bbc which is usually always up.
