In New Zealand you will find slot machines in many pubs and hotels, they are very accessible to the public. They are also operated by charitable foundations and claim they do a net good by donating the profits to the community. I despise the model just like lotteries, it's a regressive tax and the lions share of profit comes from those with addictions. |
