Comes as a non-brainer given the nature of the community, but I always felt that writing is a fitting way to network for introverts. If you produce content, you will find a group of like-minded people to share ideas with, while skipping the need to socialize face-to-face.

true. It interests me that the internet is still text-first in many respects, even since the rise of video. There's the obvious reasons why this is such as it's quicker to do than producing a vid, but I think the main reason is it doesn't make you self-conscious in the way other mediums do like audio/vid, or oblige you to socialize as you say.
