Do any "certifications" have value? As an employer, I have never given any certification any weight.

Yes, in the sense that they demonstrate proficiency in a skill / subject.

You may not give them any weight, but I'm sure you're aware that many employers do. Sometimes certs are preferred, sometimes they're required.
