Surf every day.

I’m not sure if you can do this job remotely, but you say you’re coastal … military … San Diego perhaps?

Anyway, the thing to do is the thing everybody else at every other stage of life wishes they could do.

That's what I was thinking, I'd go to my favorite break in CR and spend a few months being unplugged and quiet. I'd surf every morning and watch the sunset every evening and not really worry about what I did in between.

I wish I were back in San Diego, I'd love to get back in the water. Sadly I'm in the gulf coast, so not much here in the way of surf. I'm thinking of building a longboard though.

There is a decent amount of surf on the gulf, especially if you like to longboard. I surfed ~50 days a year while living in Houston.

I'm currently in South Mission Beach. Still working though, so my joy is just taking the dog for long walks on the ocean/bay side every day. ;-)
