Ok, great. The reason why I was asking is that it sounds to me that we're talking about two different roles entirely. Yours is indeed quite valuable, but would be often called "project manager", whereas the one I'm talking about is more the customer-facing stakeholder-convincing business-outcome-responsible "product manager".
