It's not to stop honest human innovation, but rather to stop machine learning algorithms from stealing your work for use in massive training sets. Think of the training data as content, not code. You are free to use the WordPress application to create your own website, but that doesn't mean you can plagiarize the content off of the WordPress homepage. That is what machine learning does. |
