Partnering with Microsoft as an investor and/or revenue stream is a great step. Microsoft haven't ruined Github so far (since buying them), run hands-down the best code editor (VSCode) and also created the amazing TypeScript language and ecosystem for JavaScript. They are a very solid company to have backing and investing in OpenAI. Honestly, these days Microsoft's track record is looking better than Google's. |
