So far, it looks like the things we never thought could be automated - and maybe didn’t want to automate - are ”easy” for AI and the stuff we thought could and should be automated is hard.

So instead of AI helping us with the hard work of keeping people alive and well - farming, infrastructure, manufacturing - we’re using it to do the fun stuff for us. Go figure.

I think it comes down to how impactful a mistake can be - who to blame when ai automation fails 20% of your crop? It's easy to forgive a four armed person on some generated results.
