Isn't it already like this though? Most companies won't do that by default, but when push comes to shove, they care about the bottom line much more than the person. Plus they have almost all of the leverage. I agree with the GP because the power imbalance is too big. They're also not saying people should screw companies over all the time. Just to not feel guilty if/when it makes sense to take a better offer. |
