This is just the usual pseudo-academical sneer again white males to say that everything that happens to them it's their fault. No white male that I know - and considering the suicide rates, no statistically significant portion of white males - has ever had the impression that someone looked out for them: this starting in kindergarten where "teachers" made very clear that females were preferred.
