I love Qi, and I really love MagSafe, so I'm happy that magnetically-aligned-Qi is becoming the standard. Although, sadly, I suspect that Apple will continue to incorporate their own NFC identification into their Qi2 devices, and that alone will be what differentiates "MagSafe" from Qi2 -- almost certainly including limiting faster wireless charging to MagSafe. |
