I’m fine with software subscriptions (fixes, upgrades, customer support, etc.), but subscribing for something that’s still in development (this case) is harder for me to swallow, in principle. On the other hand, it is very little money and you can cancel your subscription at any time so it keeps the developer honest (focus to make the product better and reach 1.0). What I’m most surprised by is that Visual Studio isn’t more than adequate. What does Microsoft use internally? |
