I am an ex-Facebook Software Engineer specialized in moving large data around with a background in networking, flash drives, real time video compression, and scientific computing. I work with open source software stacks and have worn all of the hats associated with the software development life cycle.

I am looking for interesting projects at the lower levels of the software stack. Let me know if you want to build or productize an embedded rust platform, pure rust containers, C/C++/Yocto anything, commercialize 801.11ay, zero copy network drivers (io_uring for networking), or other similar low level infrastructure project. Anything in computational medicine would also be of interest.
