Would you trust US election results if it was produced by some random amalgamation of javascript libraries downloaded straight from npm? I don't think the report mentioned if they even used HTTPS to download the code. Surely the bar for the process that determines the future of the nation ought to be a lot higher than that. Surely this is not controversial. |
