Depends on the project I would say. If you're working alone sure, but in a highly collaborative environment I would assume it would also interact a bit with the social side since I'm constantly thinking of how best to name and communicate my design for the next reader.

Also rubber ducking is a pretty social exercise, even if no one is there.
